I don't believe that the Bible or any scripture actually back up the assertion that the end of the world will be occurring tomorrow. That being said, there is nothing to say that the world (or at least any one of our "worlds") could end at any time- tomorrow included. I think that every "End of the World" is a great opportunity to reflect on our lives and to recognise our mortality.
If you knew that you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do? Perhaps call your mom, spend time with your family, pray, go out with friends, or...? Our lives can end in a heartbeat (pun intended). People die every day. 21 May 2012, for example was indeed be the last day of life for many people around the world. So will today.... bottom line, how many of us live out our day to day lives like we are actually mortal. How many regrets would we have if any of our loved ones or friends were to die? Is there anything unsaid? Is there anything that needs to be resolved? Is there forgiveness that you have denied or not asked for?
Tomorrow may not be the end of the world- but all things come to an end. We all pay mortality lip service, but I encourage everyone to use tomorrow as a day of introspection and reconciliation. We should all have the chance to live like we were dying.
I myself think the World has ended if we were to go back in time in the Time of Christ when the world was not like it is today.
