What does the cross mean to you?
Some of you have a cross pendant on a chain that you wear or carry with you, but why do you wear or carry that?
If it has meaning to you, it shouldn't and you should ask God for forgiveness for allowing the devil to make you think of Christ when you look at or wear this cross.
2 Kings 17:12 NIV - "They worshiped idols, thou the Lord had said, "You shall not do this."
Jeremiah 10:8 NIV - They are all senseless and foolish; they are taught by worthless wooden idols.
Jonah 2:8 NIV - "Those who cling to worthless idols turn away from God's love for them."
Verses go on and on throughout the Bible speaking against false god's and shameless hand made idols.
If for any reason the thought of Christ comes to mind when you see a cross or choose to wear a cross then you are believing in a false god. That cross will not save you, it will not get you to heaven, it will not heal you or your loved ones, it will not bring you closer to God.
That cross only resembles two boards that were nailed together by the Romans to be used to torture humans till they died on those two boards. The Romans knew better than to nail a person through the hands because the weight of the body would tear through the hands and the Romans would not get the pleasure of seeing that person suffer. People along with Jesus was nailed throught the wrist to avoid this.
So what you wear and what you see in churches are idols, they were crafted by men/women to resemeble a torture device that the Romans used, thats all it is.
I, as well as many others are forced to see these, but they mean nothing to me. I see nothing when I look at those and it reminds me of only one thing, how very uneductated so-called Christians really are.
You can argue with me all you want, but you cannot deny the fact that you are looking at a manmade structure and not the very two boards (cross) that Christ was crusified on.
God Bless
