Leave The Light On In Your Heart!

  • All this week, the Holy Spirit kept saying to me, “Leave the Light on in Your Heart,” “Leave the Light on in Your Heart,” “Leave the Light on in Your Heart.” So insistent was its simple but powerful message that I was compelled to share it here!

When this Divine Revelation first came to me, I immediately remembered the famous Motel 6 Commercial that I once heard on the radio. They always ended with, “We’ll leave the light on for you.” This warm invitation of welcome must have been a beacon of hope for many a weary traveler looking for a safe place to relax and feel at home.

I asked myself, “How much more important is it, that we leave the light on in our own hearts, so that others may seek refuge there and that we may, also, find the love and renewal we need for ourselves?”

Buffeted by the world at some time or another, adversity and hardship is a part of living. Life is a mixture of sunshine and rain. We all experience joy as well as heartache and pain. We cannot escape it; however, we must leave the light on in our heart!

    Why is this so vital?

The light in our heart is the Divine Presence of God, the Holy Spirit anchored in us. When we dwell in light, we dwell in love. When we dwell in love, we dwell in God and God in us.

When we allow Divine Love to rule our heart by keeping our lamps burning brightly, the true nature of our Divine Royalty will be seated on our heart’s throne and the balance of love, wisdom and power will be struck.

Leave The Light On In Your Heart!

In fact, turn it up as brightly as you can. . .
