Are You Struggling To Achieve Your Dream?

Are you still struggling to achieve your dream? Are you discouraged and ready to give up and quit? I have one word for you - don't!

No matter how hard your dream is to bring into reality, do not quit! Rest for a while if you must, and then go at it again. Try again. Fix it here and change it there and send it out again and again until you reach your goal. It will happen if you don't give up and quit.

No matter how many of your friends or family members fall away, keep going. Don't listen to their negative comments. Pay no attention to their ridicule. Just listen to God. Listen to your own indwelling Presence wooing you to your dream. Believe it because it is real. It is not make believe. You have only to keep going and you will see for yourself, as you draw it forth.

When people see you continuously producing no matter how many times you've embarrassed yourself or failed, they will know you are in earnest and will come to help you. It doesn't matter how small your start may be or the platform you are using... Use it to the best of your ability! Scripture tells us that if we are faithful over a few things, he will make us ruler over much.

So, no matter how many times you fall down or fail, keep getting up and going at it again. Your head may be bloody and bowed, but keep on fighting. Stay in the ring and keep on punching as hard as you can.

If you can no longer jump and dance about, you can walk. If you can no longer walk, you can crawl. Just keep on moving, keep on fighting, keep on punching, kicking, scratching, clawing. Whatever you must do to keep moving forward inch by inch, do it.

I'm not sure what your struggle might be, but I am here to encourage you and myself too. After more than five years, I am still struggling to get my "Inspiration With Sista' Joy" Show on You Tube off the ground and it hasen't happened yet but I know it will - if I don't quit!

Quite frankly, I almost gave up, but I've finally realized that I must do it and I cannot quit. I will not quit, and don't you quit either!

Truth tells us, "The race is not to the swift nor the battle to the strong but to he that endureth unto the end"

I know that sometimes you want to quit because you don't think you have everything you need to achieve your dream, but you do. There is a sign I keep over my desk as a constant reminder. It says:

"You lack nothing! Use what I gave you." -God

You don't need more of anything to succeed. You've already got it! It's all around you. It's inside you.  You simply need to pick up your tools and use them. You just need to "keep on, keepin' on." Use everything you have been given by God. Don't worry about the rest. Simply concentrate on what you've got.

When the time is ripe and you have done everything you can, God will do the rest. When you climb the stairs, you may not see the top, but you know that if you keep going, there is no question - you will reach it.

So, stay in the struggle and fight on. . .fight on. . . fight on. . .

Archbishop Ervin Nemeth DD The problem with "rest for a while" is that one may rest too long (happened to me many times with many of my dreams/projects). Eternity awaits us but here and now our time is very limited which makes procrastination a very dangerous path.

Auntie Moira Procrastination is indeed different from Rest. But even the gods rest. Nature rests. Exhale. : )

Sista' Joy Thanks Auntie Moira. Yes, there is a big difference between rest and procrastination. The Bible speaks quite highly about the importance of rest and restoration. In fact, it is a repeated theme throughout Scripture. The command to rest is not an excuse ...  more
