You Can't Pour From An Empty Cup

  • In our lives, even without our ministries, we often take care of everyone and everything but ourselves.  Work, bills, family, projects, school, this list never seems to shrink. We fill up our time with so much that we have to do that we seldom leave time for those things that we want to do.

Soon we find ourselves feeling burned out, depressed, fatiqued and depleted.

It is imperative that we remember to take time for something that will replenish us, restore us and bring us back to a place where we can better serve our purpose.

Take that walk. Brew that tea and then sit down to enjoy it. Pour yourself a bath, light candles and just soak. Go get your hair done or your nails done. Invest in you and your well being. Whatever brings you joy and peace, do that.

    Refill the cup.

    Stay blessed.
