The Break-Out Yom Kippur
Thursday, September 28, 2017
Yom Kippur is the most vital day on the Jewish calendar— without any question— because it’s the Day of Atonement. Yom means day and Kippur means the covering or the atonement. For two thousand years, we’ve had a Yom/day without a Kippur/atonement because there’s been no temple. Without a temple, there’s no sacrifice. Without sacrifice, there’s no Yom Kippur. Without Yom Kippur, there’s no atonement at all. Daniel 9 says that Messiah will come and bring an everlasting and ultimate atonement. He has come and He has brought such a great Kippur that it’s broken out of the day. It’s gone across the world. The missing Kippur is now yours. It means you have the same rights the high priest had and more. You aren’t confined to entering into the Holy of Holies only one day a year. It doesn’t matter what you’ve done. When you repent, you’ve got the missing Kippur, so enter into the veil and come close to God. Draw near with confidence, for you have the missing Kippur.
