Why Is It Even In The Bible?
Tuesday, March 13, 2018
In John 7:33, Messiah said, “For a little while longer I’m with you, then I go to Him who sent me. You will seek Me, and will not find Me, and where I am you can’t come.” Messiah is speaking about going back to the presence of the Father, to the realm of the heavenlies. Yet, those who heard Him thought He was talking about taking a trip into the surrounding Greek lands. But why are things like that in the Bible? It’s a proof. If you were making up the Gospel or being biased with the truth, there’s no way you’d put things like this in the Bible. You’d only put it in if you were being extremely careful to record the raw and unadulterated truth. Things like these are only in the Bible because they’re true. And so it is also in the Bible that Messiah has risen. That is equally true. So you can lift up your eyes off of your situation, onto the heavenlies. That’s where Messiah is, and not on some Greek vacation.
