Those known as the church fathers are considered to be great men who rose up after the apostles and after the completion of the Bible. But did you know that several of them were Anti-Semitic? For example, John Chrysostom, the Archbishop of Constantinople said, “The synagogue is the meeting place for the assassins of Christ.” He spoke and wrote many horrible things against the Jews. He argued that violence against the Jews was justified. Yet he was called “Saint!” This shows you how far things can go away from the Bible when it’s separated from its Jewish roots. Even those who are called saints can be used by the devil if they leave him an opening in their lives. Hatred, bitterness, unforgiveness, and prejudice are a few of the great openings in life for the devil. If any of these things are in your life, the enemy has a hold on you. Get rid of it, repent of it, and cast it far from your life, any unforgiveness at all. For you are called to be a true Saint of God, not an instrument of the devil.
From Message #967 - The Beast of a Thousand Faces
Scripture: 1 Corinthians 13:2
TODAY'S MISSION - Ask the Lord today to reveal if you have any hatred, unforgiveness, or bitterness in your heart. Then, get rid of it and be a Saint.
