  Dear Lord God,

   

  You are the God of truth...

   

  Into Your hand I commit my spirit;

  You have redeemed me,

  O Lord God of truth.

  Psalm 31:5

   

  Thank You for Your Holy Bible and how it allows me to know You and Your truth more deeply.

   

  I pray that each time I open up the pages of my Bible, filled with Your truth, that my heart will trust its contents.

   

  I ask for You divine wisdom to seek out Your truth as I read my Bible.

   

  I pray for the men and women You have entrusted to teach Your Word in churches, schools, and other settings, that You would speak through them.

   

  Thank You for Your Living Word, The Holy Bible...

   

  Your word is a lamp to my feet

  And a light to my path.

  Psalm 119:105

   

  My hope is that each day my heart will come to know You more and more.
