  Dear Father God,

   

  I thank You that You are the Rock of my salvation...

   

  The Lord lives!

  Blessed be my Rock!

  Let God be exalted,

  The Rock of my salvation!

  2 Samual 22:47

   

  I thank You that my life can be built upon Your strong foundation, as Jesus taught...

   

  Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine

  and puts them into practice

  is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

  The rain came down, the streams rose,

  and the winds blew and beat against that house;

  yet it did not fall,

  because it had its foundation on the rock.

  Matthew 7: 24-25

   

  Please help me to trust You, to live, and to take every breath based upon the foundation I have in You.

   

  Please help me to weather my life's storms, to keep looking to You, and to be Your grateful child.

   

  I pray that You will strengthen me and keep my feet steady on solid ground.

   

  I pray that I and my family members will be committed to You and that we will live lives that glorify You and that bless others.

   

  In the name of Jesus, I pray,
