I’ve written of two towering saints of the twentieth century; Richard and Sabina Wurmbrand, leaders of the underground church in Romania, who had both spent years in Communist prisons for their faith. I was blessed to have known them personally in the latter part of their lives. In her late 80s, Sabina was diagnosed with cancer. At one point, they received word that their insurance might not pay for the treatment. Richard was concerned and asked me, “What can we do if they don’t pay?” “What’s the worst they can do?” I answered, “They can put you and Sabina in prison, but you both are at your best when you’re in prison. So what do you have to worry about?” He laughed, but it’s true. We deal with so many issues and so many things in life that we could be worried about. Try this: Ask yourself, “What’s the worst that can happen?” The worst that can happen is your life ends. But then what? Then Heaven! So stop living in fear and anxiety – and start really living in God’s righteousness. Remember, the worst thing that can happen to you now – is Heaven!

Scripture: Romans 8:35-39
TODAY'S MISSION - Today, don’t walk in fear. Instead, walk fearlessly in God’s righteousness.
