  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear God,

   

  Thank You for this new day.

   

  It is good to give thanks to the Lord,

  And to sing praises to Your name, O Most High;

  Psalm 92:1

   

  Thank You for the beautiful sunshine.

   

  I am in awe of Your works...

   

  The clouds that bring rain,

  the wind that comes to refresh,

  the bumblebee that flies in spite of being too big and heavy for those little wings,

  the lightning bugs that flicker at night and send children chasing through the yard,

  the crickets that chirp,

  the frogs and birds that sing,

  the oceans that roar,

  the mountains so tall,

  the ant that is so busy,

  and so much more of Your beautiful creation, including all of the beautiful children, teens, and adults that I will see today...

  God, You are awesome and You are good.

   

  Thank You for happy memories and even the sad ones, for they have helped to shape me and to increase my trust and dependence on You.

   

  With love and faith, I pray this in Jesus' name,
