  Dear Father God,

   

  Thank You for giving me a purpose for my life and for telling me what Your plans are for me through Your Holy Word, The Bible.

   

  For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord,

  “plans to prosper you and not to harm you,

  plans to give you hope and a future.

  Jeremiah 29:11

   

  Please help me to be kind-hearted and long-suffering with others, as You are with me.

   

  Guide me to handle my disappointments with grace; to remain quiet when I should not speak and to speak when I should.

   

  Please give me the thoughts, words, and actions that You want me to have.

   

  Thank You for loving and forgiving me.

   

  In Jesus’ name, I pray,
