  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear Heavenly Father,

   

  Please help me to be careful about what I say and to follow Your instructions...

   

  Do not let any unwholesome talk

  come out of your mouths,

  but only what is helpful

  for building others up

  according to their needs,

  that it may benefit those who listen.

  Ephesians 4:29

   

  Please forgive me for the times when I did not speak encouraging and beneficial words to other people.

   

  Please give me wisdom from Your Holy Spirit before I speak.

   

  I want the words that come from me to be words of truth, words of light, words that are appropriate for the moment and for the person who hears them.

   

  I want my words to be honoring to You and inspirational, motivational and encouraging to others.

   

  I want to be known as someone who encourages others, so that they are lifted up and motivated to reach their God-given potential...to glorify You...to be blessed and to be a blessing.

   

  Thank You for hearing my prayer dear Father God...

   

  Let the words of my mouth

  and the meditation of my heart

  Be acceptable in Your sight, O Lord,

  my strength and my Redeemer.

  Psalm 19:14
