Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
As I go through my days, I see many acts of kindness and love, such as a mother smiling as she looks at the little baby in her arms or someone taking the time to help and encourage a struggling person.
In these moments I am reminded of Your goodness.
But I am also a witness to injustice in my life and the injustice that fills the world.
I pray now as Jesus taught us...
On earth, as it is in heaven.
This is my prayer for my home, for my community and for the world.
Lord, we need more of You and Your Kingdom today.
And, we look forward to the day when...
...God will wipe away every tear from their eyes;
there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
But until that day comes, please send Your Holy Spirit to bring comfort, justice, hope, grace, mercy, and love into this world through me and the people of Your Kingdom.
