  • THE RETURN: SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
    Wednesday, April 1, 2020

You may have heard, but I thought it was important to share this here among all our Hope of the World co-ministers and partners. I write of a most critical matter. In both The Harbinger and The Paradigm, I wrote of the biblical template in which a civilization under the judgment of God is given a period of grace, a window of time, for the purpose of and chance to come to repentance and return.

We are now in that window of time. But it will not last forever. The surprise outcome of the last presidential election brought into power a conservative administration, one which has involved more born again believers than at any time in modern history. Had it gone the other way we would now be in a very different place. The present administration has sought to stand for life, for religious freedom, for Israel, and against many of the forces that would seal our nation’s moral and spiritual collapse. It is not about politics, any party, or any man. It’s about grace and the time God gives to a nation for the purpose of the return.

And yet, even in that window, and one of the most conservative administrations in history, America’s cultural and spiritual collapse has not only continued – it has accelerated and deepened. And as far as the political part goes, it is only guaranteed to the end of this year. If it is not extended, we could see the unleashing of a flood of anti-biblical, anti-Christian laws and measures that could end religious freedom as we know it.

And even if the political window is extended for another four years, without a spiritual return, repentance, and revival, America’s ultimate course and end will remain unchanged. Without revival, all political and cultural efforts will ultimately fail or be undone. The purpose of the window is not about politics – but revival. Without that, America is lost. And if America is lost, so will go the world.

We have this window – and this chance. If we don’t respond now, we may never have the chance to respond again. And if we do not now see a return, we may pass the point of no return.

From the calamity of 9/11, I have been speaking of the necessity of national repentance according to 2 Chronicles 7:14. I have for years spoken and prayed with Kevin Jessip, a man of God who has faithfully carried a burden for a sacred assembly of prayer and restoration for years. I have never felt the urgency for this as I do now.

So this is to announce a National and Global Day of Prayer and Repentance – to be known as The Return. The central day will be Saturday, September 26, in a sacred assembly according to what is laid forth in Scripture – to take place in our nation’s capital on the Washington Mall. It will take place during the four hundredth anniversary of the sailing of the Mayflower and forty days before the presidential election. But it will be more than a day – it will be a movement for prayer, repentance, return, and revival – starting now.

I invite you all, as co-ministers with me, to be a part. I will share more with you on this in the days ahead. But for now, if you can commit to praying, from here on, every day for the repentance, the revival, and the return of God’s people and of this nation, America – for God’s end-time revival. And may God greatly bless you as you do!

    in His love and service,
