Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
Please work through me today and guide me so that I will have the mind of Christ in all I do today.
Help me, that I will not do anything in my flesh, nor out of any selfish ambition or vain conceit...
Let nothing be done through selfish ambition
or conceit, but in lowliness of mind
let each esteem others better than himself.
Let each of you look out not only for his own interests,
but also for the interests of others.
which was also in Christ Jesus.
Please help me to remain humble and never consider myself better than others.
Please provide me with the means and the desire to look after the interests of others as well as my own interests.
I pray that I will have a godly attitude in all of my actions and decisions and that Your love will flow through me.
May I be a blessing to You and to everyone around me today.
I truly desire to fulfill Your two great commandments today and every day...
“Teacher, which is the great commandment in the law?”
Jesus said to him, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment.
And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.”
