‘I am the way, the truth, and the life.
No one comes to the Father
Jesus is the Life; He is the source of life. He embedded the world with His life when He created it (Colossians 1:16). The smallest building block of the universe is the cell, made up of protons, neutrons, and electrons, all held together by the enormous power of Jesus who “holds all creation together” (Colossians 1:17). Jesus is also the source of human life, for the first parents were made in God’s image when God’s life was breathed into Adam, and he became “a living being” (Genesis2:7).
Lord Jesus, I thank You for life in my physical body. I thank You for the food to eat, water to drink, and air to breathe. I thank You for mental and spiritual life.
Jesus is the source of spiritual life. Jesus, the Life of God, was put to death, but He arose on the third day. He is “the resurrection and the life” (John 11:25). The apostle John was referring to Jesus when he stated, "The Life was manifested, and we have seen, and bear witness, and declare to you that eternal life which was with the Father and was manifested to us” (1 John 1:2). Have you seen and received this life?
Lord Jesus, I have received Your life—eternal life—when I was saved. I get enlightened from reading the Scriptures. I experience renewed life when I fellowship with You in prayer. I worship You for heavenly life. Amen.
You get the life of Jesus when you receive Him into your life.
