American Education & The Bible

In the early 1960s, prayer and the Bible were banned from the American public school system. And yet what was the reason the American school system came into existence? The reason was given at the time of its birth, in 1647, in Massachusetts - It was "to ensure that no one be kept 'from the knowledge of the Scriptures." So it's not just that the Bible was part of the American educational system - It was that the American educational system itself came into existence for the purpose of teaching the Bible. And yet today, the Bible is banned from the school system, while sexual immorality is taught even in the nation's kindergartens. How could this happen? Only step by step - whether for a nation or a person. So even a little step away from God now, can end up, in time, leading to total apostasy and destruction. So guard your steps, even better, seek that every step you take brings you one step closer to God - and you'll never have to worry about falling away.
