The Holy Spirit: The Spirit of the Lord God
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon Me,
because the LORD has anointed Me
to preach good tidings to the poor;
He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted,
to proclaim liberty to the captives,
and the opening of the prison
The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of the Lord God who anointed Jesus to preach the gospel. Therefore, He can anoint you to effectively share the good news of salvation. Just as the Holy Spirit sent Jesus to do miracles of mercy, so He can send you to show mercy to needy people. Just as the Holy Spirit helped Jesus proclaim liberty to captives, so He can use you to give the message of spiritual liberty to all. You can open the prison of sin to those who are in bondage to Satan. Just as the Holy Spirit anointed Jesus for ministry, He can also anoint you for ministry.
Holy Spirit, I believe in You. What You have done in ministry through Jesus, do the same for me. I want to be used by You.
The Spirit of the Lord God led Jesus while He was upon Earth (Luke 4:1-14). They had perfect harmony because Jesus was one with the Father and the Holy Spirit. When you yield completely to the Holy Spirit, He can lead you every step of each day. He can help you accomplish much more with your life. The world has yet to see what can be accomplished through any person who is completely surrendered to the Father, Son and Holy Spirit.
Holy Spirit, I yield my life to You. Help me see areas of my life that are not yielded, so I can yield them to You. I want to be completely filled with Your presence. Amen.
The more you yield to the Holy Spirit, the more you can do for Him
