Two Jewish believers, Shimon Peter and John, are in the court of the Sanhedrin for preaching the Gospel. The verdict is - stop preaching the Gospel or else! Their response is, "We're gonna keep preaching the good news, we're following God." The disciples kept preaching the Gospel in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and all over the world. Had they listened to the Sanhedrin, we would never have come to know Jesus, and the Great Commission would've come to a standstill. Instead, they went right out and continued to preach the Gospel and the Sanhedrin couldn't stop them. The Sanhedrin had no power to stop the Gospel. They looked like they had the power, but it was all a bluff. In the same way, Satan has no power to stop you in the Lord, but he can put on a big show. It's all a bluff. He has no real authority. Yet if you believe his authority, you'll stop yourself. Keep going. That's the authority of Messiah's disciple. For greater is He who is in you than he who is in the world.
From Message #478 - The "Oh Yeah" Principle
You're Messiah's representative. Your mission today is to be bold, to speak out, and to take a stand for what you know is the right thing to do. His authority has been given to you.
