Leah was the older, unattractive, unloved, rejected wife of Jacob. Yet God opened her womb. From Leah came Reuben, Simeon and Levi, from whom came Moses and Aaron, the priesthood of Israel, Ezekiel, Zechariah, even John the Baptist, Judah, Boaz, David, Hezekiah, Josiah, Mary, Joseph, and Messiah Himself. Although rejected, Leah's womb was the most fruitful of all. So in our lives... it is generally not the good times that produce the most fruit for God.. but the hard times. It is generally not those most comfortable or popular who produce the most fruit for God, but those who are not. If you are rejected, unloved, despised, or mocked, mistreated, disappointed, or left with a broken heart... praise God. Look to God. God can use your situation... It's the womb of Leah. Those who don't find what they're looking for, and turn to God, end up the most fruitful. In God, your sorrows will give birth to true joy, your disappointments to true hope, your rejection to true love, and your broken heart, to true life. Give thanks, even for your sorrows. Give them to the Lord. They will be as blessed... as Leah's womb.
From Message #541 - The Children of Leah
Give all your sorrows, disappointments, rejection and brokenness to the Lord. Do not hold back. Then receive all the love and healing, peace and joy that He has for you.
