What a privilege to be the apple of Your eye, loved beyond comprehension and nurtured to grow into that prized fruit of Your making.
I thank You and praise You for Your lovingkindness and Your protection...
for You will hear me, O God;
Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness
O You who save those who trust in You
From those who rise up against them.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings,
From the wicked who oppress me,
From my deadly enemies who surround me.
I pray that You will also hide my persecuted brothers and sisters in Christ in the shadow of Your wings.
May people be drawn to You as You are made known in my home, my church, my school, my workplace, my community, my nation and throughout the world..
