The Land Outside Yad Vashem
Yad Vashem is the memorial to the Holocaust. Inside it is very moving, sorrowful and a dark place never to forget. When you leave, you walk outside and the sun is shining, there are birds and grass, towns and villages, mountains and little children, laughter and life. Inside Israel, there is Yad Vashem, but outside Yad Vashem there is an Israel. The amazing thing about Jewish history is not the Holocaust, but that for 4,000 years God has preserved them. It is alive and filled with children in the streets, like the prophet said. God never denies the existence of evil, but He overcomes it. You might have a big problem in your life. Maybe a sorrow, darkness or tragedy and you are spending your time dwelling inside that problem. The thing is that outside of your problem is your life and walk with God that surrounds your problem. Step outside and dwell in the mercy and love of God. The bigger picture is that His kindness, love and His goodness are far bigger than that problem. Outside of your problem, there is the love of God.
From Message #454 - A Tour of The Promised Land
Come before God today, relinquish your problems and allow yourself to bask in His love.
