  Dear Father God,

   

  I thank You that You are the Rock of my salvation...

   

  The Lord lives!

  Blessed be my Rock!

  Let God be exalted,

  The Rock of my salvation!

  2 Samuel 22:47

   

  I thank You that my life can be built upon Your strong foundation, as Jesus taught...

   

  Therefore everyone who hears these words of mine

  and puts them into practice

  is like a wise man who built his house on the rock.

  The rain came down, the streams rose,

  and the winds blew and beat against that house;

  yet it did not fall,

  because it had its foundation on the rock.

  Matthew 7:24-25

   

  Please help me to trust You with my life based upon the firm foundation that I have in You.

   

  Please help me to weather my life's storms, to keep looking to You, and to be Your grateful child.

   

  Please replace my grumbling and complaints with an attitude of gratitude toward you.

   

  I pray that You will strengthen me and keep my feet steady on Your solid ground.

   

  I pray that I and my loved ones will be committed to You and that we will live lives that glorify You and that bless others.

   

  In the wonderful name of Jesus I pray,
