  Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer

  Dear Father God,

   

  I know that You want me to be like a light on a hill, so that others will be drawn to You, as Jesus taught...

   

  You are the light of the world.

  A town built on a hill cannot be hidden.

  Neither do people light a lamp

  and put it under a bowl.

  Instead, they put it on its stand,

  and it gives light to everyone in the house.

  In the same way, let your light shine before others,

  that they may see your good deeds

  and glorify your Father in heaven.

  Matthew 5:14-16

   

  Cleanse me anew that I will be a good witness for You.

   

  Show me how You want to pierce the darkness with Your light.

   

  Help me to be a witness for You in the places where I live, work, study and play.

   

  Thank You my Father in Heaven.

   

  I pray this in the glorious name of Jesus,

   

  Amen.
