Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
As I begin this new year, I ask that You will create in me a clean heart and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
I pray that Your Holy Spirit will sow into me the seeds of Your love.
Lord, may You be the Gardener of my soul throughout this new year, weeding away all selfish and sinful ways in me.
Please uproot that which is not of You in my life; fill me with light and hope; nourish me with Your love and Your Word.
You are the God who makes all things new. Revelation 21:5, 2 Corinthians 5:17
I pray that this Year, my life will be marked by the Fruit of Your Holy Spirit...
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering (patience), kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control.
Against such there is no law.
Lord, use my life to produce Your love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control throughout this new year.
Please help me to be a good steward of the spiritual gifts which You have given to me, so that I will use my spiritual gifts to bless others and to serve my family, church and community.
I know that I would not believe the things that You will accomplish this new year, even if You told me. Open my eyes so that I can watch and be amazed by Your great faithfulness. Habakkuk 1:5
