Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
Thank You for being the loving God, who created all life and who inspires me to look at the world through Your creative and loving eyes.
I look up to the sky and I see Your beautiful creation.
I look at the flowers and I see Your tenderness and beauty.
Lord, please help me to notice this same beauty in each person that You created and to express Your love to each one.
And let me be especially mindful of Your beautiful creation of each baby and child, which you allow us to join with You to bring into Your creation through Your miracles of conception, gestation and birth.
Your creation of me and of every person is a miracle, as David wrote...
For You formed my inward parts; You covered me in my mother’s womb. I will praise You, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works, And that my soul knows very well. My frame was not hidden from You, When I was made in secret, And skillfully wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed.
And in Your book, they all were written, the days fashioned for me, when as yet there were none of them. How precious also are Your thoughts to me, O God! How great is the sum of them! If I should count them, they would be more in number than the sand; When I awake, I am still with You. Psalm 139:13-18
Please renew my mind that I may begin to view all others as part of Your beautiful creation and Your masterpiece.
Please mold my heart so that I can seek out people who are overlooked and hurting and tend to them.
Thank You Lord for Your creation and for giving me the blessing of being Your ambassador in this World.
