Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
Thank You for Your generosity and kindness to me.
I look to You as the perfect example of how to give generously.
I want to be more giving and generous, as Paul encourages all Christians...
So let each one give as he purposes in his heart,
not grudgingly or of necessity;
for God loves a cheerful giver.
Because of Your Holy Spirit within me, I can learn to love and give generously.
Please show me the ways You want me to give to my family, friends, church, community and to Your missions work around the world.
Open my eyes to the giving opportunities around me, and please lead me to give of my time, my talents and the resources that you have entrusted to me, generously giving to those in need around me.
Whether I invest in a family outing, write an encouraging note to a friend, volunteer in my church or in a local organization, or generously give to my church and to those in need, please help me to see what You have for me and please prompt me to act.
