I pray that You will anoint me so that I can join with Jesus...
...to proclaim good news to the poor.
...to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor.
Please prepare and send me to...
...bind up the brokenhearted,
to proclaim freedom for the captives
and release from darkness for the prisoners.
I pray that You will teach me how "to comfort all who mourn, and provide for those who grieve..." Isaiah 61:2-3
Use me "to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes...praise instead of a spirit of despair." Isaiah 61:3
Restore to me Your joy for this day...
"Restore to me the joy of Your salvation." Psalm 51:12
Thank You for giving Your salvation to me, I am filled with joy.
Help me to live as Jesus taught, to obey the greatest commandments—to love You my God; and to love all others. Matthew 22:37-39
Thank You for trading my shame for a double portion of Your goodness. Isaiah 61:7
