Lighthouse Ministries Daily Prayer
There are challenging relationships and conflicts that I am struggling with.
I have let some of these issues grow into resentment and bitterness and my heart has become hard in these areas.
I look to you my Lord Jesus, how you gave your life on the cross for me a sinner...
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
Thank you, Lord, for your ultimate and perfect sacrifice.
Please forgive me for my unwillingness to forgive others...
I ask that you soften my heart towards those who have wronged me.
I desire to live as you lived, fully led by your Holy Spirit.
Let me live as You instruct in your Word...
Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger,
brawling and slander, along with every form of malice.
Be kind and compassionate to one another,
forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.
Lord, I want to be more like you.
Please help me to live by Your Word and to follow Your example.
