This Prayer is based upon David's Psalm 17:6-8
Dear Lord God,
What a privilege to be the apple of Your eye.
Thank You for hearing me when I call to You.
I praise You for Your lovingkindness and Your salvation.
I pray with King David that you will hide and protect me from all evil and harm...
I have called upon You, for You will hear me,
O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech.
Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You
From those who rise up against them.
Keep me as the apple of Your eye;
Hide me under the shadow of Your wings...
Psalms 17:6-8
I pray that You will also protect and hide my Christian brothers and sisters around the world who are persecuted. Please hide each one in the shadow of Your wings.
Please help me to always lift Jesus up, so all people will be drawn to Him, as Jesus taught...
And I, if I am lifted up from the earth,
will draw all peoples to Myself.
John 12:32
May every person be drawn to You as You are lifted up in my life, my home, my church, my school, my workplace, my community, my nation and throughout the world.
