Dear Lord God,
I am aware of how the devil picks at me and tries to trap me all the time.
Please help me to stand strong against the schemes of the devil...
Be alert and of sober mind.
Your enemy the devil prowls around
like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.
1 Peter 5:8
I know there are spiritual dangers around me.
Please help me to remain alert and to be fully under Your Holy Spirit's control at all times.
I submit to You my Lord and I resist the devil...
Therefore submit to God.
Resist the devil and he will flee from you.
James 4:7
Please protect me and my family from harm and evil.
And let me wear Your armor as Paul taught us...
Put on the whole armor of God, so that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand... Ephesians 6:11-13
