Dear Father God,
Today, let me meditate on the words the angel spoke to the shepherds at Jesus' birth...
For there is born to you this day
in the city of David a Savior,
who is Christ the Lord.
And this will be the sign to you:
You will find a Babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger.
Luke 2:11-12
How amazing, our Savior Messiah was born into this world as a vulnerable baby surrounded by animals in a stable.
During this Christmas season, I too can feel vulnerable to the pain and losses I have experienced.
Please let me find Your strength and peace knowing that Jesus came to earth to rescue me.
I look forward to the day when there are no more tears...
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death,
nor sorrow, nor crying.
There shall be no more pain,
for the former things have passed away.
Revelation 21:4
Thank You. Your perfect love is pouring down on me...
