Dear Heavenly Father,
Today, on this last day of this year, I reflect on the passage of time and I remember that You are outside the limits of both time and space.
You move in mysterious and transcendent ways.
Lord, I pray that, as I acknowledge you, that You will lead me every day in the new year...
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths.
Proverbs 3:6
I pray that Your sacred presence will permeate the ordinary moments of my life.
I ask that You will lead me during my waking hours and speak to me through my dreams.
I pray that Your Holy Spirit will reveal to me the ways that You have woven Your redemption into my life story.
I ask that You show me how You are working in my life.
My Lord Jesus, please teach me to pray and to join with You to see...
"Your kingdom come,

I pray that You will prepare my heart for your work for me in the coming days.
I love You, my Lord.
Your love is better than everything else I know.
Please use me for Your glory today and throughout the coming new year.
