Dear Lord God,
I pray that You will lead me to live today as You require...
And what does the Lord require of you
But to do justly, To love mercy,
And to walk humbly with your God?
Micah 6:8
Lord, help me to respond to others with patience and grace.
Please give me eyes to see Your redemptive work in the lives of those around me.
Jesus said, "I am the way, the truth, and the life."
John 14:6
Please show me the way You would have me live today.
May Your Holy Spirit empower me with the courage it takes to speak Your truth and to live with transparency and integrity.
Breathe Your new life into my tired and weary heart.
May You reveal to me the areas of my life that are not pleasing to You, and I will change with your help...
Search me, O God, and know my heart;
Try me, and know my anxieties;
And see if there is any wicked way in me,
And lead me in the way everlasting.
Psalms 139:23-24
Teach me to love all people in very tangible ways.
Thank You my Lord Jesus for modeling the ways which You desire me to love others—feeding the hungry, grieving with the broken hearted, welcoming the stranger, encouraging those who are full of fear.
Thank You that You are good and that Your mercy lasts forever. Psalms 118:29
