Dear Father God,
Thank You for being my Father in Heaven, I draw near to you now as I pray...
But it is good for me to draw near to God;
I have put my trust in the Lord GOD,
That I may declare all Your works.
Psalms 73:28
Each day when I wake up, I choose to trust You to follow You and to declare all your works in my life.
Show me what it means to live each moment of each day with and for You.
Please allow me to have the discipline to seek Your presence and to learn from Your Word every day.
In the book of Job, Elihu declares...
Let us discern for ourselves what is right,
let us learn together what is good.
Job 34:4
Lord, I ask You to give me Your divine wisdom and a deep understanding of Your Word so that I may discern from You what is right and good.
I would like to ask you for wisdom now, as James instructs...
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God,
who gives to all liberally and without reproach,
and it will be given to him.
James 1:5
I will trust and follow You for all the days of my life.
Thank You for Your unending love that surrounds and guides me today.
