When we look around and see things, we draw conclusions as to if they are good or bad.
This is common when looking at the other people around us.
If we see someone helping another person, most of us feel that is good.
If we see someone in a state of intoxication laying passed out on the sidewalk, most of us feel that is bad.
Our conclusions are based on a learned understanding from the knowledge we have.
When we are born, our conscious mind is pure and uncorrupt, we do not know good/evil consciously.
When we are born, we begin a journey of knowledge and learn understanding of good/evil at a conscious level.
What we will learn is, that which we are exposed to.
We can know good, but that does not mean we understand it.
We can know no evil, but that does not mean we understand it.
If we wish to learn understanding of what good/evil is, then we will need to have knowledge to develop understanding from.
A person that grows up in evil only; they do not know good and will not understand if their actions are good or evil.
They will do what others around them are doing, because that is what they know.
A person that grows up in good only; they not know evil and will not understand if their actions are good or evil.
They will do what others around them are doing, because than is what they know.
Without enough knowledge of good/evil, along with learning to understand the knowledge, we cannot make our own informed conclusions.
We will simply follow what others are doing.
This makes it very important as to how we present ourselves to others.
This is important towards all people that we meet, however, especially important towards those who are just beginning their life on earth and those that are not yet ready to forge their own path, for they are following the examples set forth around them.
Do not put forth a bad example.
When a person starts out in life on earth they need time to gain knowledge and learn understanding, therefore, during this time all they have to go on is what others around them are doing.
We all start out as followers; through time, if we gain enough knowledge and learn understanding, then we will become leaders of our own path and no longer just go with the flow.
When we have learned enough knowledge and understanding in order to forge our own path, we should show honor towards our teachers, by passing on that which we have learned and allowing those that follow a chance to be able to forge their own path also.
Do remember that it is not just people that are our teachers, but rather all that is around us.
Do remember that some responsibilities are cast upon us, by that which we have achieved.
Do remember that how we accept and manage our responsibilities, will be defining of us.
Let our actions be those of honor by giving honor.
Let the trail we leave behind be that of integrity, so that others that follow our example will do the same.
Forge a path forward with virtue, so that others that follow our example will do the same.
Give thanks for the opportunity to forge our own path by helping others towards being able to forge their own.
Remember many people that do the wrong thing, believed at the time, it was the right thing to do.
Remember that when we think someone is wrong, perhaps it is we that do not understand correctly.
Remember that people are not bad, they have just made a bad choice due to lack of knowledge and understanding.
Remember everyone has something to teach us.
Many times I have had people say to me while driving, "Look at that loser".
I ask them, “Why do you not learn from them".
They look at me with everything from a puzzled look to anger and say, "What could I possibly learn from them".
I reply, "You can learn how not to be".
The conversation generally ends, with the person in contemplation.
The above is wrote for the purpose of generating creative thought.
I kindly and humbly thank all that take the time to read this and encourage all your responses to what I have wrote to be posted.
May all in the world be blessed, may peace be with you.
