Matthew 18 ;20 For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.
This verse is one that I have held close all my life. I can remember countless times when a friend and I would be together and the word of God would come up in conversation. Some people have accepted God in their lives and some have not. For the ones that have it is a great time to study and learn.
Psalm 32:8 - I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will guide thee with mine eye.
Philippians 4:9 - Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
1 Thessalonians 5:11- Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do.
For the ones that have not, it is a great time to let them know that He is there patiently waiting for them to let Him in. Most do not feel comfortable in a “Brick and Mortar” atmosphere for one reason or another. Which is a subject all in itself. Maybe with the right words we can bring them to accept Him into their lives. Sometimes, They may wrongly feel that the people in the church will judge them for their mistakes. Let them know that it is between them and Christ only and not anyone else.
Romans 14:1-23
As for the one who is weak in faith, welcome him, but not to quarrel over opinions. One person believes he may eat anything, while the weak person eats only vegetables. Let not the one who eats despise the one who abstains, and let not the one who abstains pass judgment on the one who eats, for God has welcomed him. Who are you to pass judgment on the servant of another? It is before his own master that he stands or falls. And he will be upheld, for the Lord is able to make him stand. One person esteems one day as better than another, while another esteems all days alike. Each one should be fully convinced in his own mind. Holy Spirit, I know the great joy of salvation is being instilled by God himself. I pray that God would grant this honor to those lost, that He would choose to take up residence within them. May He fill the hearts of those who have yet to see Him! Amen
Ezekiel 36:27 “And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” I am blessed to have the Spirit within me, and I pray for that blessing for unbelievers so that they can know true happiness.
