The Covenant...

  • The Al jilwah says, "when temptation comes, I will give my covenant to those who trust in me." Somebody new to the idea of Satanism might actually be confused about a satanist talking about temptation. Isn't temptation a Christian thing? Sin and all of that stuff,, isn't it all just Christian orientated? In that way I am not in admiration about how people generally focus on things. There are stigmas and typical dichotomies about life in America. And people have inaccurately labelled America a Christian nation. I believe this cultural epidemic is what this type of focus is geared from. As has been evidenced through the satanic panic of the 80s and 90s and beyond the claims of slander on satanism remain largely the same from the medieval days. People who don't like how someone is different will simply cause derogatory remarks to discredit someone's belief. Satanism is not about illegal behavior. In all twenty years of study in the left hand path I am responsible for my own actions and never have come across a group of satanists or some type of cabal that requires vandalism and miscreant style behavior for active Membership. There are a few authors out there who promote the idea of baneful magic and loss of hope of any salvation as something of a process of a true adept, which I disagree with. Morality is morality whether magic is involved or not. And morality is a science that cannot be defeated no matter how someone tries to separate in apathy to declare all morals invalid. A major topic that is brought up in the bible is the fact of a covenant. In fact the place where a copy of the ten commandments was kept and relics from the times of Moses was called the ark of the covenant, which was supposedly housed in the temple in Israel. God freed Israel from Egypt, bringing them to their promised land and established Israel as a nation. In return he asked that the Israelites obey the levitical laws and act accordingly. There is debate over the validity of this covenant. Even Israel was chastised by god through his prophets for not holding true to the covenant standards several times over. One of the main commandments of the covenant was to regard god as the only god, as he was a jealous god and demanded sacrifice and perfection. Modern Christians will claim that Jesus Christ is the fulfillment of this covenant, and all that is required is to believe in Jesus for salvation. The idea being the new kingdom headed by the son of man at the end times will be residentially capacitated by the true believers in Christ. I find this to be totally erroneous and a big move of competition by Israel to separate from the polytheistic beliefs ore existing before the Hebrew culture ever began. Several key concepts can be seen from simple word usage that they stole from the pagan polytheistic culture. Sin was the consort to inanna and a moon god, Hel was a Norse pagan deity who was in charge of the underworld. Devi was a Sanskrit word used for mother goddess. And the Greek word Daimon was the original concept of angel, which angel was more a Latin orientated word in development. Devil as well was more Latin orientated later. It is no coincidence that Noah's boat to save man kind from the flood was called the ark, and later the relics of the ten commandments and other items were kept in the ark. It is no coincidence that the bible begins with the Torah of the old testament as the first five books, and the new testament begins with the four gospels and the book of acts. It is no coincidence that the book of Exodus talks about the death of all of Egypt's first born and the new testament gospels declare the story of king Herod killing all infants in search of this new king of Israel. It is also no coincidence that the idea of the world covered in water and Noah emerging from the water through faith in god, was considered a similitude of baptism by water later presented in the new testament. Things ars specifically arranged to display a point in the bible, and to witness the gospel to all the world. But I believe veiled within this gospel, the real truth is evident. That there is more than one god. Regardless of god demanding to be the only god, and Satan is one of these gods. In the new testament one classic story is the temptation if Jesus, displayed in Matthew chapter four. Satan says to Jesus that he has the whole world to give to Jesus if Jesus just bows down and worships him. Jesus rebukes Satan and denies any involvement. While I' don't believe the story to have literally taken place. The symbolism is rather evident. The kingdom of heaven is promised to the followers of Christ, and the antagonists are given eternal punishment. Satan is considered a liar and a deceiver. Making promises that weren't true. This is by Israel who actually complains several times over about following only god, and complains about the world punishing them for their beliefs. Look at the history of Christianity in the days of Constantine and the inquisitions and how Christianity goes unchecked and what happens. Look at the crusades and the activity of when Christians get in control. Is it ever a good thing? Is it a good thing now with the state of our country politics that we are somehow a Christian nation? It is my argument that the false lies are from those without. That the true covenant is with Satan, the true unchangeable essence, and more and more people are blinded and led away line sheep. A covenant is simply a promise. A temptation is disregarding that promise and doing whatever you want rather than following the conditions. It may not be as so strict as the death penalty for disobeying, but one will not inherit the reward for achieving what they truly can. Don't be dismayed and confused when struggles arise. Stand firm and know the truth.
