Dear Friends,
Sunday, as the "day of rest", offers us opportunities to interrupt the everyday and
touse forms of quiet contemplation.
This can be at home, in a sacred space, or in nature. In this way, the challenges of
the last time fall away, an inner peace returns, which builds up and mobilizes our
strength. The thoughts get a free run and discover what has been lost in the hustle
and bustle of the days.
For this I found a very beautiful quote from Saint Bernard of Clairvaux, which could
also have been from Thích Nhất Hạnh. It reads:
“You will find something more in woods than in books.
Trees and stones will teach you that which you can
never learn from masters.”
Let us also follow this advice and listen to what the nature surrounding has to
whisper to us. Every inspiration brings us further and lets us become more and
more an important part of the whole.
I wish all of us a Sunday that lets us go inwardly strengthened into the coming week.
Many Greetings
and see you soon.
Peter
