Matthew 16:26
"For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" (Jesus Christ to His disciples).
What is the ultimate price a human being could pay?
The highest price a human being can pay is the darkening and gradual withering away of his soul, which represents the “Kingdom of God within you.” (Luke 17:21).
What will be the results?
You will lose over time the spiritual ability to access the Heavenly Kingdom, which is the universal source of all true, eternal life. Hence, you will cut yourself off from the free flow of universal life energy. You will no longer be able to be in holy communion both with God and all beings and thus receive and pass on his love and light.
You will no longer be able to forgive and to live in true righteousness and gratitude. You will no longer experience true joy and true peace.
You will bind yourself to the partial, individual, illusory movements (thoughts, emotions) of your ego-consciousness and materialize it through words and actions. These unreal movements and creations are characterized and accompanied by fears, contradictions, thinking in terms of victory and defeat, manipulation, disorder, utilitarian relationships, isolation and will end in total bondage and therefore lack of freedom.
You will die little by little spiritually and emotionally, long before the death of your material body. You will lose your God-given ability to be a true "co-creator" of light, love, joy, peace, wisdom, righteousness, abundance and freedom.
Is it really worth it to you?
