The Ballad of Kindness

  • In a world of rush and hustle,
    Where hearts can often harden,
There lies a gentle, subtle touch—
    The art of kindness, golden.

    Kindness, not in grand displays,
But in the quiet act of seeing,
A smile to one who's lost their way,
    A moment of true being.

It's in the hand that helps to lift,
The ear that lends to listen,
The heart that understands the drift,
The soul that shares in mission.

    Imagine if each morning's light
Brought with it not just day,
But acts of kindness, pure and bright,
    To lighten up the grey.

    A word, a deed, a simple nod,
Can change a day's whole weather,
Can turn the tide from storm to calm,
    Can bind us all together.

In kindness, there's a strength untold,
    A power in the gentle,
It blooms where harshness cannot hold,
    Where love becomes essential.

So let us write with acts of care,
    A ballad that's unending,
Where every verse is kindness shared,
    A world forever mending.

For in each act, however small,
    We weave a tapestry vast,
Of empathy, of love, of all—
    A kindness that will last.
