Jesus did not name any woman as an apostle, although women were in his party as he wandered in the Holy Land. Does that mean that women should not be ministers? Was Mary his mother a priest? She was there at Pentecost in the Upper Room. Were there any women at the Last Supper? Were there women priests and presbyters and bishops in the Early Church? Why was Goddess worship suppressed among the Hebrew people, who were known for worshipping Asherah, the supposed spouse of Jehovah? Why do some Protestant churches allow for women in the pulpit preaching and Catholics not? If anyone here can help me answer these questions it would be great.
I am a Reverend Doctor by the power of God alone. But is it the Goddess who made it possible, or did Jesus change his mind? Will the Catholic Church ever change and include women priests, or be segregated forever? Let us all start a dialogue about this important and controversial subject.
Sincerely,
The Reverend Doctor Victoria A. Howard
