In Reiki, Shinpiden was passed to only a few by Mikao Usui. My grandfather, lived to 104, was Michio Takaya of Yokohama, (Advisor to Hirohito), notable religious scholar, one who was an authority not only on the christian influences in the birth of modern Japan, but the little unknown esoteric religious sects, including Reiki. My mother, Kuniko Takaya, was 20 or so at the time of WWII, a hibakusha (被爆者), and well skills in metaphysical arts, she was a concert pianist and instructor at the Tokoyo Conservatory of Music which she attained a Masters.Their abilities and skills were imparted to me, over many decades.
On my father's side, My grandfather was an oil well driller, a Native American Texan if you can phantom that. A natural Dowser, intuitive as was his wife, my grandmother. The value of their abilities and skills were imparted to me, over many decades. My shamanic journeys, my visionquests blend in with the East and Western modern man, with that of a pure Native belief structure. It build my character and being I am now.
I knew at an early age, my first memories, were of astral projection, telepathy, remote viewing, and various paranormal abilities. My studies were fine tuned starting in the early 1970's. If I were, and I really don't, set a qualification level, my Attunement for me is of the Grandmaster level which I attain through direct hereditary lineage. Reiki, is just a stage, attempting to introduce a more refined working stage beyond Reiki Master levels, I developed the Takaya Method*
My direct remote healing skills were further functionally augmented when I met Harold McCoy, of ORI, a well skilled remote healer. His direction and abilities is well within my core sole purpose, as is my ancestry.
*The Takaya Method, was developed as a method of harmonic attunement. My Instruction is based on the old craft - ancient hermetic esoteric orders, which from 350 years , three generations as validated through my lineage Japanese - Onmyōji (陰陽師?, also In'yōji) as skilled in the arts of onmyōdō, Native American as skilled in the traditional Shamanism (Wichita) and Euro-Germanic Heathenism.
I have cross with many healers, directly from the HHDL Dalai Lama to John of God, with too many notables to list. My sole purpose in the moment is to assist, help and guide. Not only have I helped thousands, I have also trained and mentored hundreds in skills from Grandmaster Reiki, paranormal to Psychic skills
