Counselor Who's Here For You

  • My name is Matthew Medford. Having recently received an honorary Doctorate of Divinity and Doctorate of Metaphysics along with being a counselor, I seek those who wish to receive therapy and/or counseling for any reason. Please know that I am here to help.

I come from a small town in West Tennessee, about an hour north of Memphis. I graduated with a BA in Religious Studies from Bethel University in McKenzie, TN. After my graduation, I began my Masters of Theology and Masters of Psychology (focusing on gender diversity, sociological issues, and persons who are marginalized) careers. Currently I am enrolled in
Christian Bible College and Seminary (based in Missouri) to focus on my Masters of Theology; along with North Central University (based in Arizona) to complete my Masters of Psychology and Counseling.

Through my time in counseling, I work one-on-one in seeking to assure you the best possible therapy and counseling you deserve. I enjoy what I do, and I work very hard at what I do. It is my hope and prayer to be a small part of creating a better you.

My goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can't change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you're looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you're just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals. My main thought of study deals with those in the LGBTQ community; however I am here to aid in pastoral counseling, marital counseling, or simply counseling that will allow you to create a better future in your life.

Please feel free to message me on here, and I will give you the details of contacting me. As of yet, I do not do office counseling; all is online via Skype. When you message me, we will discuss my username and my fees.
