Rev. Jo Burke graduated from Ursuline Academy in New Orleans before receiving her Bachelor of Arts in Comparative Religious Studies from the College of New Rochelle in New York. She is an initiate of Builders of the Adytum (BOTA), a professed of the Secular Franciscan Order, and a long-time parishioner of a Gnostic congregation in Los Angeles. She married her partner of 13 years in Novemeber, 2013, and they live in Los Angeles near MacArthur Park. Rev. Burke will perform the ceremony of your choice at any location of your choice, whether its a joining, a naming/welcoming, or a farewell celebration. She will follow your faith tradition when assisting you in the planning of your personalized service. Although her ministerial services are free of charge, there are travel and supply expenses which should be paid by way of a stipend or thank-offering.
